24 HOUR ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT POLICY
Our policy provides a death benefit for an Accidental Death or Dismemberment for members whose department provides benefits for members while on duty only, or doesn’t have the funds to provide more extensive benefits. This is also an economical tool for recruitment and retention.
Length of Service Award programs (LOSAP) offer incentives that mimic a simple pension plan. Based on number of years a volunteer is active and meeting certain requirements, a cash service award becomes payable at a designated age. Service Award programs are one of the many benefits we offer to help improve recruitment and retention of emergency service volunteers.
